King’s Competes at Head of the River 

After seven months of dedication, grit and hard work, our Junior VIII and Senior Rowers wrapped up their season with a bang at the Head of the River.  

Competing in front of 10,000 spectators is no small feat, and our rowers did us proud with incredible performances:  

1st VIII – 3rd place  

2nd VIII – 3rd place  

1st IV – 4th place  

2nd IV – 2nd place  

3rd IV – 5th place  

4th IV – 4th place  

1st Junior – 2nd place  

2nd Junior – 3rd place  

3rd Junior – 5th place  

We would also like to acknowledge our Year 12 rowers who are finishing their rowing careers at The King’s School, with some being part of the rowing programme for up to five years. 

The competition was not over for our 1st VIII rowers, who competed in the Rowing Nationals the following week, earning a silver medal in the Under 19 Coxed Schoolboy Eight. 

Congratulations to our Rowers for their commitment over the past season.
