2024 National Rowing Championships

Congratulations to our rowing crews on their incredible results at the National Rowing Championships last week.

The impressive results began during the week when Captain of Boats, Will, won the gold medal in the Men’s Under 19 Single Scull Final, with Lochie winning the silver medal in the Men’s Under 17 Single Scull Final.

The success continued into the weekend with our 1st VIII crowned winners of the Barrington Cup in the Schoolboy VIII and our Year 10 VIII gold medallists in the Under 17 VIII.

Our Schoolboy Coxed Four came 5th in the A final, made up of members of our 2nd VIII, with the Schoolboy Coxed Quad, also made up of members of our 2nd VIII, coming 6th in the A final.

On the back of the successful results, The King’s School was crowned the overall winner of the Schoolboys’ Championship Point Score at the regatta, recognised as the top-performing school program.

A huge congratulations to all involved and an even bigger thank you to those supporters who have given up countless hours to help our rowing program achieve these remarkable achievements.
