Expressions of Interest for HSC Computing Courses

Overview

The King’s School is proud to offer a flexible, online learning approach for students entering Year 11 in 2024. For the first time, students across NSW can enrol at The King’s School to study Enterprise Computing and/or Software Engineering, the new Stage 6 NESA Computing courses.

As students may not otherwise be able to study these new Stage 6 courses at their home school, The King’s School offers the ideal solution by supporting Schools and families to provide students with the opportunity to pursue their interests and education in Computing. Staff specialists at King’s have designed and developed these online courses to provide students with flexibility and the highest quality access to resources and teaching.

Program format and The King’s School experience:

  • Weekly live lesson (online), after school hours, and self-paced activities
    • Potential for schools with a full-size class cohort to be taught inside the timetable during a scheduled period (weekly)
  • Access to specialist teachers and tutors throughout the week to provide feedback and answer questions
  • In-person workshops at The King’s School to further enhance the learning experience and build the learner community
