1st and 2nd XI cricketers finish the GPS season as Premiers

Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd XI cricketers who have finished the GPS season as Premiers. The 1st XI have enjoyed an excellent season, finishing 2 points ahead of Joeys in a closely contested competition. The boys, captained by Fergus Fergusson, showed excellent character in winning 4 of their last 5 games to lift the shield on Saturday night.

The 2nd XI, captained by Peter MacCallum, have produced an outstanding season, winning all 14 GPS competition games to finish the season on an incredible 90 points, which was 26 points clear of 2nd placed Shore. The team finished the season with an excellent bonus points win against Joeys on the JS White Oval to become Undefeated Premiers. This is now a remarkable 6th consecutive Premiership for The King’s School 2nd XI team.
