We are excited to announce The Art Prize Gala Dinner is right around the corner and will take place on Saturday 27 May at 6.30pm in Horrocks Hall, The King’s School, Preparatory School.

Tickets to this social event include a three course dinner, beverages and fabulous live entertainment.

For the past 29 years, The King’s School Art Prize has been awarded to some of Australia’s leading contemporary artists. An examination of previous winners of The King’s Art Prize highlights the eminence in which this award is held. Former winners include Cassaria Hogan Young, Steve Lopes, Peter Churcher, Nicholas Harding, McLean Edwards, Pepai Jangala Carroll, Aida Tomescu and Ben Quilty, so it is a great chance for the community to purchase some wonderful investment pieces.

Artworks will be on sale in Horrocks Hall on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 May between 10.00am and 4.00pm, and can be viewed by appointment from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 May by contacting Mel Taylor via email mlt@kings.edu.au.
