Welcome to your King's enrolment journey!
We are delighted that you are interested in our school. We are also interested in you because the magic of King's does not rest in its grounds or facilities, it rests in its staff and students. King's staff members are carefully selected because of their energy, skill, and ability to create a sense of wonder in each student. This means, that despite being a non-selective school, our academic results are outstanding.
It all starts in either the Preparatory School or at Tudor House – the Junior Schools of The King’s School.
Located in the picturesque Southern Highlands of NSW, The King’s School, Tudor House offers enrolment from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 for boys and girls. Boarding is also offered at Tudor House from Year 3. Learn more about The King’s School, Tudor House.
The King's School, Preparatory School accepts boys from four years of age. The Prep is a ‘boy Heaven’ where fun and exploration combine with serious scholarship to prepare a boy for secondary school.
Year 7 is the first year of Senior School and the major point of entry. Due to the King's reputation, there are characteristically more applying for a place at King's than there available. All applications are considered on their merit.
The reason for there being a steady flow of applicants wanting to come to King's rests on three things:
- Academic Excellence: The outstanding teaching and learning curriculum nurtures and encourages students to become global inquirers and thinkers. Our approach is one that seeks to educate the whole student to prepare them for life, with the values and skills to be a success on whatever scale or stage they may pursue.
- Character Development: A King’s education comprises of holistic learning enrichment and support services, sport and co-curricular programs, and opportunities to promote the development of leadership skills and personal growth. We firmly believe that within the context of a safe and secure environment, challenges will help our students to develop a stronger sense of self and capacity to overcome life’s tests and tribulations.
- Christian Community: King’s is a caring community united in its mission to provide the best possible education for its students. We don’t just enrol students at King’s, we enrol families. There are ample opportunities for parents and friends of the School to be engaged in so many activities at King’s. We love this involvement, as it transforms us from being a school to a flourishing community.
