The King's School offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries for entry to Years 7 - 11.
Scholarships have an academic focus. The primary criteria for an award is the result of a
competitive examination conducted by an independent testing organisation. Supporting documentation detailing interest and achievements in performing arts, sport and leadership may be taken into consideration following academic ranking.
A full Scholarship allows for the remission of tuition fees throughout a boy's secondary school career, dependant on satisfactory progress.
Part scholarships are also awarded.
Bursaries are usually relevant to boarder applicants and typically assist with between 50% and
100% of boarding fees to attend the School. Bursaries also demand academic standards, but take into consideration all-round interest, achievements and the financial needs of the applicant's family.
We hope you and your son will enjoy your visit to The King's School and we take this opportunity to wish him success with his examination.
