- Sydney Buses (PM route only)
Balmain and Drummoyne (Lane Cove PM)
Daily Bus Service
Timetable:
- 7.20 am departs Balmain (bus stop west side of Darling St/Victoria Rd intersection, in front of Salvos shop)
- 7.25 am departs Drummoyne (outside Ski Barn in Victoria Road)
- 7.30 am bus stop Gladesville park
- Proceeds along Ryde Road to Victoria Road
- 7.35 am pick up outside Ryde Aquatic Centre
- 7.40 am pick up outside Metro Motel
- 7.42 am pick up if required in West Ryde Shopping Centre on Victoria Road
- 7.45 am pick up if required outside Ryde/Parramatta Golf Club.
- Proceed along Kissing Point Road to Bettington Road, thence to The King's School.
- Drop off opposite the Art Block at Senior School at 8.05 am,
- thence to Prep for drop off at the Turning Circle at 8.10 am.
Return combined with Lane Cove service - After Sports bus service commences at 5.30 pm.
- 3.30 pm / 5.30 pm Depart Prep School Turning Circle
- 3.40 pm / 5.40 pm Pick up opposite the Art Block at Senior School
- Proceed down Bettington Road to Kissing Point Road
- Bus stop 3.55 pm / 5.55 pm drop off (if required) outside McDonalds on the corner of Marsden Road and Victoria Road
- Bus stop 4.00 pm / 6.00 pm drop off (if required) in West Ryde Shopping Centre
- Bus stop 4.10 pm / 6.10 pm drop off opposite (if required) Ryde Aquatic Centre on Victoria Road near Weaver st.
- Proceed along Victoria Rd, into Monash Rd. and then Ryde Rd.
- Proceed along Ryde Road to drop off 4.10 pm and 6.20 pm Hunters Hill Hotel
- Proceed over Fig Tree Bridge, along Burns Bay Rd, into Penrose St, Bridge St, River Rd, West to Blaxlands cnr, Kenneth St. to drop off at Kingsford Smith Oval at 4.30 pm and 6.30 pm.
- Return to Burns Bay Rd, Fig Tree Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge ontp Victoria Rd, over Gladesville Bridge to Drummoyne drop off.
- Bus Stop Marlborough St
- Proceed over Iron Cove Bridge to Balmain. Into Darling St. to drop off near Slavos shop.
Parents must book a seat on this bus service for their sons. Bookings may be made by contacting Mr Yates on (02) 9683 8411 or emailing transport@kings.edu.au
A termly fee will be included on next term's fees invoice. Casual bookings may be considered if seats are available. Weekly boarders who wish to use this service on Friday afternoons and Monday mornings must book a seat.

The King's School sponsors a daily bus service to and from Lane Cove via Hunters Hill. This service is provided and at present staffed by the school.
Lane Cove to The King's School:
- 7.25 am departs Lance Cove (Kingsford Smith Oval)
- 7.35 am departs Hunters Hill (opposite Hunters Hill Hotel in Ryde Rd)
- along Ryde Rd to Victoria Rd
- along Kissing Point Rd to Bettington Rd, to The King's School.
- Drop off at The Turning Circle - Senior School at 8.05 am
- Drop off at The Prep School at 8.10 am
Return combined with Balmain service - After Sports bus service commences at 5.30 pm.
- 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm depart Prep School
- 3.40 pm and 5.40 pm Pick up at The Turning Circle - Senior School
- Down Bettington Rd to Kissing Point Rd
- 3.55 pm and 5.55 pm drop off (if required) outside McDonalds on the cnr of Marsden Rd and Victoria Rd
- 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm drop off (if required) in West Ryde Shopping Centre
- 4.10 pm and 6.10 pm drop off outside (if required) Holy Cross College on Victoria Rd
- Proceed along Ryde Rd to drop off
- 4.20 pm and 6.20 pm Hunters Hill Hotel
- 4.30pm and 6.30pm drop off in Lane Cove
- Proceed along Burns Bay Rd, Figtree, Tarban Creek and Gladesville Bridges to Drummoyne drop off
- Proceed over Iron Cove Bridge to Balmain, into Darling St drop off.
Arrival at destination will vary as to what time the trip is started and traffic conditions. The bus cannot wait for late students.

Mose Vale / Bowral to The King's School on Sundays
A Service Provided by Kennedy's Bus Company
The bus service from Moss Vale to TKS available for TKS boarders returning to school each Sunday afternoon during term (unless following a long weekend, then the Monday afternoon or otherwise notified).
The bus schedule is as follows:
- 5:00 pm departs from the bus stop at Moss Vale Clock Tower;
- 5:10 pm departs from the bus stop at Bowral Lions Park
- 6:05 pm arrives at McDonalds Mt. Annan
- 6:30 pm, departs from McDonald’s at Mt. Annan,
- 7:30 pm drops boys at their houses in time for Chapel.
Boys will be able to purchase a meal from McDonalds or Red Rooster at Mt. Annan ONLY. They are not permitted to visit any other stores in the Mt. Annan shopping precinct.
The fare is $22 (incl GST) and is billed to your boys TKS Account at the end of each term. Normally, there are between 20 -25 boys on the bus. If there are extra boys who do not normally travel on the bus we ask that you book those boys with Shelley Boyce on or before the Friday before the travel date.
Because of comfort, safety concerns and to ensure a seat, it is ESSENTIAL that you book seats ON OR BEFORE THE FRIDAY preceding the travel date.
To book seats, you can either fax, phone or email bookings to this service’s volunteer coordinator, Shelley Boyce, by giving your name, contact number, boys name and house (leave a message with these details if Shelley is not available).

Serviced by Shorelink, this service will commence in 2009 from St. Ives shopping centre at 7.05 am, picking up at Gordon station at 7.15 am.
- 7.05am - outside St Ives shops, Memorial Avenue
- 7.15 am Gordon station (Henry St, stand No.1)
- 8.05 am TKS turning circle
- 8.10 am TKS Prep school
Departure Early (Monday to Thursday)
- 3.40 pm TKS Prep school
- 3.45 pm TKS Senior school turning circle
- 4.15 pm Gordon Station
- 4.25 pm St. Ives shopping centre
Departure Late (Monday to Thursday)
- 5.25 pm TKS Prep school
- 5.30 pm TKS Senior school turning circle
- 6.00 pm Gordon station

Departure Friday (one service only)

Weekly boarders or any other boys travelling by School Bus routes on Monday morning or Friday afternoon MUST book their journeys with Mr. Max Yates. The weekly boarder service on Friday afternoon may depart later than the 3.30 pm scheduled service, if this service if full.
Mosman
A 12 seater mini van or Coaster bus service operates from Mosman to The King's School and return each school day.
Departure
- 7.20am Bradley's Head Rd (south of roundabout) / Thompson St. intersection.
- Hampshire Park (cnr Prince Albert St/Bradley's Head Rd)
- Proceeds along Bradley's Head Rd then into Belmont Rd
- Bus Stop Cremorne Junction (opposite Orpheum Picture Palace) Military Rd (Transit Lane)
- Bus Stop Neutral Bay Junction (cnr Bydown St - just before Ben Boyd Rd)
- onto Warringah expressway, Lane Cove Tunnel, M2, Pennant Hills Rd to school.
- Drop off at The Turning Circle - Senior School at approx 8.05 am,
- Drop off at The Preparatory school at 8.10 am.
Return:
- 3.25 pm and 5.25 pm Depart Prep School
- 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm Pick up at The Turning Circle - Senior School.
Arrive at:
- Military Rd, Belmont Rd and then
- 5.55pm Bradley's Head Rd. (Thompson St intersection)
Please note these times are indicative only as the service is established and subject to review. Patrons are asked to forward in writing any requests for variation to the General Duties Master.

Strathfield
It is proposed in 2009 to commence a service at or around Strathfield station and proceeding down Concord Rd., through Rhodes and onto Homebush Bay Drive, then to Australia Ave and Olympic Park, Hill Rd. and Newington shopping centre, Silverwater Rd, Kissing Point Rd., Bettington Rd. onto The King's School. Two return services in the afternoon will be operated. More information about this service will be available in January.
Pennant Hills, Beecroft, Epping and Parramatta Stations
Scheduled services connect the school with these railway stations. Further details about these services are available from the transport officer Mr. Yates.
