Chaplaincy Services

Chaplaincy Services

The King's School was founded as a Christian School and throughout its history, Christian ministry has continued to be a vital part of school life. The School has a broad ministry as it seeks to serve students, staff, Old Boys and their families. The Chaplaincy team has a responsibility to minister to our students within the classroom and through Chapel services and Christian student groups.

At King's, we also seek to reach out to the wider community, offering ministry through our Church congregation and Youth Group. We invite you to join us for ministry at The King's School.

Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals

The King's School War Memorial Chapel is available to Old Boys, current students and staff for special services. We warmly encourage the King’s community to contact our Community Chaplain, to discuss any special services they may like to hold in the historic King's School Chapel.

Church@Kings

Church@Kings, established in 2005, meets each Sunday at 9.30am at The King’s School Preparatory School. Church@Kings is a vibrant Christian congregation that seeks to minister to the whole family. There is a Quiet Room for parents, a crèche for toddlers, Children's programs and engaging Bible teaching for the adults.

There are also many other opportunities throughout the week to explore the Christian Faith, including Bible Study groups, prayer meetings and "Simply Christian Courses". We also seek to care for our community through various seminars for parents, marriage and baptism couples, providing meals for those in need and supporting Anglicare in their appeals. The King's School is more than just Christian by association. The establishment of our Church community exhibits our desire to live out our Christian Heritage.
