The King's School and our local community
The King's School is the oldest independent school in Australia. It opened its doors for the first time as early as 1831 and was considered the most significant school for young gentlemen of its time in the colony. Its site at Parramatta was perhaps symbolic, for this was the site of the first real agriculture in the colony. It was the gateway to the interior.
Today, The King's School, set amongst an environment of idyillic natural bushland and creeks, is a vibrant learning community. Spread across two campuses, King's men enjoy state of the art facilities, blending modern with heritage architecture.
The King's School is located on Pennant Hills road in North Parramatta, two kilometres from the Parramatta Railway Station.

Once inside The King's School grounds, delegates should follow the Conference signs to the designated venues.
Whilst at the Conference, take the time to wander around our 300 acre site and absorb the beauty that makes The King's School a special place for learning and teaching.
