This is the training course for boarding staff first written by King's School staff in 2000 and extensively re-written in 2010. The Headmaster, Dr Tim Hawkes, has been the author and driving force behind this initiative. All residential staff at King's are required to complete this course.
This is the main course used throughout Australia to train residential staff in boarding schools and government hostels, and it is also used in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Duty of Care is clear evidence of the leadership of King's in the area of residential education.
