Senior students from King's have joined The Space Odyssey team with girls from Tara, after Tara was selected by the Oxford University Astrophysics Department as the Australian school to participate in their Global Jet Watch Program.

Boarding facilities

Boarding facilities

Boarders enjoy being able to access a range of academic facilities during the school day and after hours, including the Centre for Learning and Leadership, Technology, Drama and Music facilities. The School's sporting facilities are also made available to boarders after hours.These facilities include 17 ovals, adjacent bushland, the Sports Centre (with its weights room and three indoor basketball courts, two swimming pools, six outdoor basketball courts, about 20 cricket nets and 12 tennis courts.

Other key facilities include the Dining Hall, Health Centre, three canteens and the Braeside Shop.
