Senior School Curriculum

Year 7

The King's School offers a broad curriculum that is organised into three stages: Stage 4 (Years 7 and 8), Stage 5 (Years 9 and 10) and Stage 6 (Years 11 and 12). The School offers the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards mandated curriculum in Year 7, and the choice of languages available is French, German, and Chinese (Mandarin). Scholars' classes are offered in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science and will extend and enrich boys in areas of their talent and/or their gifts. Students placed in each class will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Classes in English, Science, History, Geography, PDHPE and Biblical Studies, Languages and Music are linked. Boys are assisted in their studies by a range of support services and access to state of the art information and library services in the Centre for Learning and Leadership.
