Foundation Benefits

Those who attend The King's School enjoy a very high standard of facilities and teaching. That the School is able to offer this is largely due to the foresight of Headmasters, dedicated staff and others over a long period of time. However, none of this could have been achieved without the active involvement and generosity of the King's community.  It is certainly the case that without significant levels of fundraising since the Foundation's establishment in 1976 these facilities would have been beyond the School's capacity to pay for them from its own sources. Beneficiaries of such generosity are largely the boys themselves. Staff also benefit from the surrounds in which they exercise their invaluable profession.  Parents have also benefited substantially from the fact that without the levels of funding, it may not have been possible to moderate fee rises. The King's School is representative of a long and substantial educative process.  Its past students have become leaders in almost every area of professional and other endeavours throughout Australia. King's has, as a major educational objective, the development of leaders.

Fundraising through the King's School Foundation ensures continuity in the provision of facilities that will continue to contribute to that aim.
