Mission
"The King's School Foundation exists to promote the King's School and to advance its standing and mission. Our objective is to secure the financial independence of the School, and its health and well-being as one of Australia's leading schools."
Function
The Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Development Office. The Foundation has sole responsibility for developing and executing fundraising projects, and philanthropic activities. Since its establishment in 1970 it has been at the core of efforts to generate and foster philanthropic activities. These activities aim to deliver each generation of students scholastic and other benefits.
An Umbrella for the TKS Community

Structure
The King's School Foundation is a Not For Profit company limited by guarantee, with a Board of Directors.
Its Board consists of the Chairman of the School Council or nominee; the Headmaster; a minimum of five and maximum of nine directors; and the Executive Director of Development Board Directors are chosen from the broad community, selected for their wisdom, professional experience, and their enthusiastic support of the School. Typically directors have legal, corporate, financial, accounting, banking, taxation and general commercial skills and experience.
